Crysis Creator Talks About The Future Of PC Gaming

It’s PC Week over at Kotaku, and the guys have invited top game creators to predict the future of PC gaming. The latest piece by Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek and the creator of Crysis, stated that the PC world will ultimately become a free-2-play market where quality games will make money through booster and bonus packages, as well as advertisements through social media.

Yerli said that developers will slowly move to a free-2-play market, where games which retail will be scarce in the PC market. Basically, the free-2-play market will become very competitive causing developers to work extra hard on their projects, in turn, creating awesome games for the PC gamer for free.
