Mock-Ups For Nintendo’s New Console Surface, Are They Fake?

Whenever something new is being created — whether it’s a console or a television — there will always be someone out there with an idea of what the device should look like. Take for example, the image right here. It looks quite pretty for a mock-up, however Kotaku apparently found it on 4chan, so there’s a strong chance that someone is just trolling. Could the device here be a fake and one large troll, or did someone actually use 4chan to leak information?

Furthermore, analysts predict that the device will drop the Wii name as Nintendo lost out on a demographic with the original console, and because of this, Nintendo wouldn’t want anyone to be confused with the hardcore version they are currently working on.
