E3 2011: Crysis Developer Making A Kinect Game For The Hardcore [Video]

So, Kinect is pretty much just for casual gaming and kiddies stuff, right? Wrong, once again Crysis developer Crytek is reaching new heights by making a Kinect game for the hardcore gamer. Sounds impossible but they seem to have found a way.

It’s called Ryse and is an action-packed game that sees players fighting their way through the fall of Rome. Players will have fairly accurate control of the character with the ability to block, shield, swing their sword and even headbutt. The Kinect soccer game causes your avatar to kneel when you’re actually trying shoot so hopefully Crytek will have a lot more precision in their use of the technology.
