Saints Row: The Third Gets Its Very Own Pornstar

Now, before anyone gets too excited, this is basically a repeat of what THQ and Volition did in Saints Row 2 where they reeled in (apparently) legendary pornstar Tera Patrick to lend her voice to one of the characters in the game and help add some eye-candy to the advertising campaign. She even ended up getting her own DLC.

Enter Sasha Grey, a recently retired ‘adult’ actress who has won six Adult Video News awards, including “The Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year Award” (if you know what any of those are, shoot yourself in the crotch right now). I don’t exactly know who she is since she’s not in any of the porn films I usually watch but Wikipedia seems to know a thing or two, so too may Kluch but that’s only mostly likely.

She will voice Viola DeWynter in Saints Row: The Third who, in partnership with her sister Kiki, controls the financial empire of primary antagonist, the Syndicate. You can see her character in the Saints Row: The Third Power trailer

Speaking to fans on Twitter, Grey said she’s been working on the game with THQ for the past year. Other prominent names among the talent in SR: The Third are Daniel Dae Kim (Jin from Lost/ the Asian guy from Hawaii 5-O) who returns to voice the one and only Johnny Gat as well as Hulk Hogan who is perfectly suited to voice “legendary professional wrestler” Angel De LaMuerte.

Then again, you’re probably not interested in that and would rather see a little more of Miss Grey. Although if you are we still respect your opinion and consider you a valuable member of society who should definitely not be stoned by a crowd.

Saints Row: The Third is out November 18 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC with a Platinum Pack (collector’s edition) out the same day.
