Anyone Can Give Good Loving In Skyrim
The great thing about role-playing games is that you are allowed to play a sort of character that would otherwise be a social faux pas in some circles.
In some worlds, the medieval fantasy worlds of the Elder Scrolls universe for example, the people are far more progressive and tolerant of things that current society either discriminates against or frowns upon. Things like gay marriage for example.
Yes, you read that right.
Bethesda marketing man Pete Hines has confirmed that your characters in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can marry with either gender regardless of your own.
“Not hush hush, just not making a huge deal out of it. You can marry anyone,” he said. “… Should clarify. Not any NPC, just mean any male or female. Doesn’t matter what you’re playing.”
So the next time you’re walking down a random street with your male Dark Elf character (it’s how I’ll be playing Skyrim) and your bipedal, green lizard friend screams out “hey dude, I love your eyebrows. No homo!” you can go ahead and marry his tailed ass.
