PAX 2011: Meet FemShep — Or At Least Her Voice Actor [Video]

By now you’ve met the new female Commander Shepard that is poised as the default character for Mass Effect 3 if you opt to go the female route, or if you’ve imported a save with a female Shepard, and though she looks a little young and cross-eyed, word around the interwebs is that she’s about as hot as an intergalactic Commander can get, and then some.

If there’s one person who knows a thing or two about FemShep, it is the lady who has voiced her since the first Mass Effect, one Jennifer Hale, a woman whose extensive list of voice-overs in gaming, television and film is unrivalled and borderline exhaustive.

Not only will she be voicing FemShep yet again in Mass Effect 3, but BioWare have also got her doing some voice work over in the Star Wars: The Old Republic studio.

You may also most recently remember her as the foul-mouthed, badass kick-your-balls-in-through-your-teeth Trishka Novak from Bulletstorm, such is her acting talent to be able to switch roles so effortlessly from the calmer and more collected FemShep.

Here she is in an interview at this year’s PAX talking about her work on all of those games, and more.

For the FemShep fans out there, this one’s for you…
