Counter-Strke GO Beta Beginning Soon

Counter-Strike seems to be a huge deal for a lot of people in the world. Previous entries such as Counter-Strike 1.6 and Source are still played every day by thousands of people, so it was no surprise when Valve announced another entry earlier this year, Counter-Strike Global Offensive. It seems as if we’re getting closer and closer to release though, with the official closed beta beginning in just a week from now.

According to the official Counter-Strike GO account, a closed beta will commence on November 30th for respective key holders. Though Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Counter-Strike GO are in development, the beta test will be PC only. There was also no word on whether there would be an open beta in the future, or how you could possibly get into the closed one.

Personally, I couldn’t care less for the next Counter-Strike, but I know many people (Dean…) absolutely love (Dean…) it and worship it at every waking moment (Guess who…). For those people, be sure to look out for any way to get in on the beta fun, and hope that it is easier than the DOTA 2 beta.
