South Park RPG Lets You Kill Kenny

You read that title right. A South Park RPG is coming.

Published by THQ and developed by Obsidian, the South Park RPG (title pending) is now official, as can be seen below. That’s Game Informer’s cover for the January edition. Click for wallpaper-sized enlargement.

Series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be heading up the project by not only writing the script but also performing the dialogue and overseeing development in its entirety.

“Unlike the cash-in Acclaim titles from over a decade ago, this ambitious project is a full-scale RPG for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3,” says the magazine.

“As the new kid in South Park, it’ll be up to you to make friends and defend the town from a wide range of threats.”
