Competition: Win What You Want

We’re giving you the choice to win what you want, as long as it’s gaming related. If you’d like us to pre-order a game on your behalf, we’ll do so. If you want us to buy a game on your behalf, we’ll have it delivered. If you’d like a new piece of hardware, well, we can help. But of course, there’s a price we’re willing to pay.

For the competition this month we are willing to buy you a game or piece of hardware which we can find online, for under — let’s say — R700, the standard price of an in-store game. In other words, instead of us offering a game which you might not want, we’re offering you the chance to get something you want.

Be it a pre-order, or a game already available. Steam, Origin or an online store.

Want a pre-order of Mass Effect 3? Perhaps a pre-order of Diablo III? Maybe you’d like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Your choice.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Comment in this thread with what you’d like. Provide a link, if you want. Just so you know, if you win we won’t hold you to this. You may change your mind. It’s just something to enter with.
  2. Once you’ve commented here, back track our site to 5 January, 2012. Comment on articles from then until 23 January, 2012. All comments from 9 January, 2012 to 23 January, 2012 will count as extra entries into the competition. In other words, we’ll better your odds if you participate and visit us daily.

To clarify, you only need to comment here with what you want to enter. Thereafter, participate in the site.

Things to remember:

  • Terms and Conditions apply
  • Competition closes Monday 23 January, 2012.
  • Only one entry per person.
  • Maximum prize amount R700.
  • Comment in this thread with your prize to enter.
  • All other comments between 9 January and 23 January, 2012 on posts later than 5 January, 2012 count as extra entries.
  • Stores available include: South African online shops, Steam and Origin. Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network with Special Permission.

      Understatement of the century!

      I’m willing to buy any good game that I trust will be top notch such as ME3. So I’ll use this to get a game that I’m as of yet unsure of quality wise: Syndicate Executive Package.

      I hope I’m as successful in this as I am in the BF3 comp :D.

    I would love a cpu cooler, my gaming is being brought down by the stock cooler (yes this is a downey)
    which i have now. (and in this heat in the western cape, my pc gets FRIED).

    Such an awesome competition. I would definitely go for Diablo III though. Have been waiting since 2004 for this to be created and released.
