2012′s Craziest Shooter Is Out Next Week

Gotham City Impostors may not be the most ambitious title of this year, but it certainly is looking like something really special. I mean, who ever thought that an online only shooter, where players take control of citizens dressed up as Batman and the Joker, and take each other out with an array of guns, crazy gadgets and slingshot grenade launchers would be this fun? Certainly not me.

But after a few days in the beta, I can honestly say that I’m hooked. So, this next bit of news excited me immensely, Gotham City Impostors will be hitting PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next week, a day after the beta ends. Locally, the PC crowd will get their hands on the crazy action first, with the shooter dropping on February 7th.

Xbox 360 and PS3 users will have to wait a day more, with Gotham City Impostors hitting PSN and XBLA on February 8th. All versions are set to cost $15 (around R115.00), which is really a steal considering how many hours you can sink into this title.

Until then though, why not grab the beta? It’s free shooting goodness, so there’s really no reason to at least try it out. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
