PlayStation 3 Firmware Update 4.10 Changes PSN To SEN
February 8th: the day that Sony will change the PlayStation Network. Update version 4.10 is on the way and it will offer slight, yet drastic changes.
According to Sony there’s a Terms of Service change, as well as the renaming of PSN accounts to Sony Entertainment Network accounts — or SEN accounts for short.
“Please note that this change is one in name only and will not change the PSN that you know and love,” said Sony on the Official PlayStation blog.
“You’ll still play games online, still have access to the latest downloadable games and add-ons, and still experience a wide variety of movies, sports and music across PSN.”
Following this, v4.10 brings an enhanced PS3 internet browser with “improved display speed”. In other words, eGamer.co.za on your PS3 will look and load a bit better.
Remember, it’s just a name change. Just the name. Just that. Alright?
