Diablo III Loses PvP, Still No Release Date In Sight

Diablo III Loses PvP, Still No Release Date In Sight

It seems only fair that since I’ve won a Collector’s Edition of Diablo III, I should start taking an interest in the game and while there is still no foreseeable release date, the game is already getting bits chopped off perhaps to hasten the coming of that day.

In addition to the changes that have already been made to the game, Blizzard has now cut the game’s PvP system. The game is supposed to be close to completion but the system was cut for not living up to the developer’s strict QA standards.

Game Director Jay Wilson said that Blizzard felt, “delaying the whole game purely for PvP would just be punishing to everyone who’s waiting to enjoy the campaign and core solo/co-op content, all of which is just about complete.”

Because it is obviously right on schedule and has not been delayed at all and everybody will be so pissed off if they don’t get the game on…oh, that’s right there is no actual release date to look forward to yet.

Fret not because Blizzard has promised to release a PvP patch post-release which would add multiple Arena maps with themed locations, PvP-centric achievements, and a matchmaking system.

Surely they could just delay the game a wee bit longer and release it with PvP?

It has already been delayed so much. Rather just release the complete game.. Don’t feel like dl’ing shit on my 384

NO! They need to release the game NOW. I’ll gladly wait for pvp later, just wanna play the game.

i think this game might be a disappointment. It’s been led up to be so great and I’m scared that What will happen will be like mass effect 3. I’m scared of the Hate. But I’m sure it will be okayokay

tbh, I think they’d be making a smart move to bring PVP to the game afterward. The game has exceeded most fans’ release by roughly two years, at the least – if it means they can bring a ‘quality’ solo/coop experience sooner rather than later, and let people duke it out against eachother with their auctionhouse bought lvl80/85 or w/e heroes a few weeks/months after release (assuming one doesn’t have to pay for a poorly disguised patch in the form of a PVP ‘expansion’), then I think they’ll satisfy a very large portion of their fanbase, if not the majority.

D3 has made an appearance on my supplier pricelist, so I dont think its too far off. The sugested retail price is just a bit of a joke..

and in other news, Blizzard has removed the co-op system from Diablo III, wait wait, this just in… the single player aswell? oh well at least we’ll have an interesting interface and menu screen to play with

Since I only intend to jam the single-player campaign, PvP being left out for an earlier release won’t see me riled up.

“Surely they could just delay the game a wee bit longer and release it with PvP?” That’s like a 1000 years for Blizzard
