Ubisoft Annecy Developing Multiplayer For Assassin’s Creed III
It’s been confirmed that Ubisoft Annecy will be developing the multiplayer component of Assassin’s Creed III.
Annecy are Ubisoft’s France-based studio, and previously worked on the multiplayer for both Brotherhood and Revelations, so this is nothing alien to worry about.
This news comes from GamerZines, who saw that on the Twitter Profile of Tim Browne – a recent addition to the Ubisoft Annecy team – it was noted that he is the “Lead Game Designer on Assassin’s Creed 3 Multiplayer @Ubisoft – Annecy” – and that makes it quite clear.
However, to this date Ubisoft has only officially revealed Ubisoft Montreal to be working on the game, and they’re the main Assassin’s Creed studio.
It was previously speculated that Assassin’s Creed III will have cooperative multiplayer.
