Fall Of Cybertron Trailer Focuses On Grimlock

A brand new trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron has been released, this one a developer diary that focuses on the character Grimlock.

Unlike other Transformers in the game, Grimlock is going to be a dedicated melee fighter with a giant shield and sword as his weapons on the battlefield. He is shown in action in the video, so check it out.

Director of High Moon Studios, Matt Tieger, recently said that it is both “a blessing and a curse” to work with the Transformers brand, especially given the recent boom in popularity that it has experienced.

We’re inclined to agree with that especially since the Transformers movies have been panned critically even though they’ve all been blockbuster hits. I never quite enjoyed War For Cybertron that much myself, but I did agree that it was worlds better — no pun intended — than the movie tie-in games, so to that extent I expect Fall of Cybertron to do well enough.
