Harley Quinn Gets Revenge In Final Arkham City DLC, GOTY Edition Announced
Following a few little teases from Warner Bros, the final story-based DLC for Arkham City has been announced, as well as plans for the game’s GOTY Edition, which will pack up all previously released DLC and bundle them with the original game. Harley Quinn’s Revenge is set to wrap up some loose ends after the main narrative in Arkham City, and hopefully also hint at some possible sequel in the future.
The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilize each of the characters’ unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley’s vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley’s all new gang of thugs.
The GOTY Edition will come packed with all other DLC, including Harley Quinn’s Revenge, which including alternate outfits, playable characters and dozens of challenge maps. The bundle will also include a download code for Batman Year One on Xbox LIVE and PSN. What about PC? Well, here’s the kicker; there won’t be a GOTY PC edition. The bundle is being sold exclusively on consoles, and will arrive in America come May 29th. We will have to wait until the European release, which only takes place in September, nearly a whole year after the original release. It’s also a time when most of the bug titles this year begin releasing, so it’s not really an ideal release window.
However, if you already own Batman: Arkham City, you’ll be able to download Harley Quinn’s Revenge come April 30th.
