Man Jailed For Stabbing Wife After PS3 Argument
A British court has convicted Aymen Korbi for grievous bodily harm after he stabbed his wife in November, 2011.
The night before the incident saw the 21-year-old’s wife, Aida, argue over the amount of time he spent playing PlayStation 3. The evening of the incident saw Aida threaten to leave with their 1-year-old daughter.
Korbi didn’t take this well, and he smashed a bedroom mirror.
“He found the sharpest bit of the mirror and came towards me, saying if I was going to leave he’d kill me,” Aida told the court. “I felt my back go funny. That’s when I realized I had been stabbed.”
Shortly after all of this, the Police found Korbi in a park, covered in blood. He admitted to his crime, where shortly after, he denied it.
Aida stated that she “couldn’t take the arguments anymore” and he was “unable to change his ways”.
According to Korbi: one does not simply rage quit. Just kidding, but it’s almost as if he would have said that.
