PES 2013 Teaser Trailer Shows Cristiano Ronaldo

The Pro Evolution Soccer series was for a long time the better of the two popular offerings in the sport, with regards to gaming. However in recent years the PES series fell off — probably owing to their reluctance to accept that it’s called “football” and not fucking “soccer”.

In any case, a brand new PES is headed our way and Konami has just released the first teaser trailer for it.

The teaser trailer for PES 2013 features Real Madrid and former Manchester United star — and the man Alessandro secretly wants to be — Cristiano Ronaldo, descending a stadium’s steps and walking onto the field. Alone. For a training session. Because that totally happens in real life.

In any case, a proper trailer for the game is expected out next week so look out for it.

In the meantime, do you even care about the PES series any more? Any die-hard fans out there, living in denial, perhaps?

    OMG, PES 2013 will be so amazing based on that super informative trailer!

    It’s cool for games with a story, characters etc but all you ned to do for a sports game is show us gameplay, don’t tease us with pseudo-epic trailers.

    Alessandro wishes he had hair like Ronaldo, or just hair at all and definitely wants to live in that part of Portugal where Ronaldo hails from.

    PES has actually been coming up in past years but has shifted its focus somewhat to be more of a true sim and go above and beyond what FIFA achieves. Thus the experiences are quite similar with FIFA just being a more preferred one.

    I like how to game varies from fifa 12 with the mechanics, but i prefer fifa 12 either way. easier to pick up and play.
