Rayman Origins 2 Leaked?
It’s no secret that I absolutely love Rayman Origins. It was one of the most unique, fun and engrossing experiences of last year, and it’s sad that most people shrugged it off as a child’s game, probably because it didn’t have military insurgents killing one another. Well, thankfully, we might be getting another chance to dive into Rayman’s world, as a survey points to the existence of a sequel.
Images sent to Kotaku by an anonymous source shows a survey from marketing firm Arkenford (Ubisoft is one of its regular clients). The survey clearly points towards a Rayman Origins sequel that will keep the fantastic four-player drop-in/drop-out gameplay of the original, while trading the first game’s outlandish world for something a bit more familiar.
We can’[t take this as solid confirmation though. Just because it popped up on a Marketing Survey website doesn’t mean that this is what a possible Rayman Origins sequel will look like at all, if it’s even being developed. Considering Ubisoft actually managed to make a profit off the game, as well as receive fantastic reviews, a sequel does sound like a good next move.
Please Ubisoft, make this happen. For the sake of the children.
