Crytek Talks Crysis 3 PC Version And Graphics

Crytek’s Rasmus Højengaard has stepped up to reassure PC gamers that their version of Crysis 3 will include PC-specific graphics features.

Højengaard, when speaking to Spong, joked a little about Crysis’s PC journey, while talking up Crysis 3′s graphics.

“PC players, fundamentally only want Crysis to be on PC, right? And, you know, that’s kind of understandable when you consider how the original game – and even Crytek itself – started out,” he said.

“But, we’re definitely pushing this game a lot from a visual standpoint, and for sure there’s going to be visual goodies in it that you can only get if you have a super-high-end PC.

“At the same time, we want to ensure if you don’t have a super-high-end PC, the game will still look amazing. On top of that, we want to make sure the experience is not different from platform to platform.”

He didn’t specify what the unique graphical features for the PC version would be.

I’m sorry, but I call MASSIVE BS on this BS. I mean, wasn’t this the same BS they fed us when it was revealed that Crysis 2 was coming to console?

Nevermind that Crytek left their master race to suffer for 3 months until a DX11 patch was released, and even then it stank of consoleness :P

Unless this game is being specifically developed for PC, then I’m not interested in what garbage they try and feed to us. A console game then ported to PC with a few little enhancements is BS, especially considering the first game in the series was PC exclusive for a very long time.

    *BS=Bullshit! :P
