Fancy Playing A Horror Game As A Two-Year-Old?

Because that’s pretty much what this is…

Meet Among The Sleep, a first-person horror adventure game from Norwegian developer Krillbite Studio that puts you into the tiny feet of a two-year-old child.

Check out the teaser trailer in which the player starts off in a cot, all baby-like, before stumbling out and off into the dark house all while encountering some very un-baby-like ghostly activity.

“After being put to bed one evening, mysterious things start to happen,” says developer Krillbite on its official site. “Being played in first person, the game let its players immerse themselves in a child’s limitless imagination.”

I’m sure there are some sick, twisted individuals who’d like to immerse themselves in a child’s great many things. They’re not welcome here.

“In the borderland between dream and reality, surreal creatures and diverse environments will present you with both physical and mental obstacles that challenge your creativity.”

Only a little disturbing, but still pretty interesting, wouldn’t you say? The game is due out for PC and Mac next year. The only remaining question is: is it paedophilia or not?

    Speaking of horror games:

Try this out, if anyone is interesting for a 3-4 hours worth of simple horror game. Unsettling as Yume Nikki, scary as Ao Oni, not exactly on par with both but still a memorable experience.

This looks prety promising and properly scary. Two year olds aren’t afraid of the same things as adults because of a very different rationale and perspective of the world. They might not be afraid of the dark but rain scares the shit out of them etc. This means the gae should have some proper, unexpected scares up his sleeve.
