Match The Song To A Game — Hey Man! Nice Shot!

In the previous entries of Match The Song To A Game, Dean and Alessandro have been doing it incredibly wrong. Okay no it’s been great fun but I thought I’d change things up a bit and take things down a slightly more hardcore path.

And by hardcore I of course imply heavy guitar riffs and a bit of screaming.

Cue Filter’s Hey Man, Nice Shot.

It’s a rock song that mixes industrial with alternative and somehow manages to fit quite neatly into a gaming metaphor. It might be the title of the song or it might be how cool the chorus sounds as the backdrop to an action-oriented game such as the latest first person shooter, or The Sims 3: Pets.

Either way, it’s a great song. And I totally finished it in both Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 3, on Expert. Just saying.

Yes, I know this song was loosely adapted by Epic Games and People Can Fly in their trailers for Bulletstorm but, just go with it okay?

So, match the song to a game already!

I have to admit that each and every time I listen to this song, I picture myself playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It’s just got that sort of feel about it, doesn’t it? What about you?

When I saw the title I just knew it was a Cavie™ article. Especially after how obsessed you were with it yesterday. :D

Not bad Cavie, not bad at all. I’m thinking Battlefield 3 for some reason but definitely Crysis 3 as well.
