Match The Song To A Game — So Play Me, Maybe

Let’s face it, this article only exists to talk about music. It’s actually a content breaker, as we’re always talking about games. We’re only covering it by linking it to games, but how often can they actually link to games?

Whatever though, we try.

In the eGamer team, I am known for missing my schedule on this feature. Whenever it’s my turn — which is every second week, alternating with Alessandro — I forget. This week, not so much.

A popular song on 9gag, and uhh, the radio, “Call Me Maybe”. It’s quite catchy, and it’s either loved or hated. Many hate, unfortunately.

The line which made the song popular is “Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here’s my number, so call me, maybe?”

We can change that, can’t we? Which game would ask you to call it, maybe? Probably a game you loved, or a game you were excited to play — only to finish it and stop playing. At the moment games will never ask you to call them, but in the future, who knows? I mean, they want to implement online-only play, and basing on that logic, a game calling you to play is totally possible.
