Mineception Is Just Awesome, If Not Confusing
Minecraft within Minecraft. A concept that will forever be known as Mineception, despite the fact that this meme clearly doesn’t understand the concept of “Inception” in the first place. But never mind that, the internet uses it, so we will too. Following some awesome projects in Minecraft, such as a Coldplay music video, Final Fantasy VII and more, a team of people have managed to make Minecraft, within Minecraft.
Yes, now you can create a completely new world within the other completely new world you’ve already created. The whole concept looks a bit confusing in the video above, but the fact that something like this was even made possible is incredible.
“Minecraft feels real when we’re in it. It’s only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange.”
“You’re asking me for Mineception. I hope you do understand the gravity of that request.”
The interface is a huge in-game computer that looks like something out of the back-rooms of the Matrix, which allows players to use a “screen” in front of them that is essentially another game of Minecraft. Blocks are limited, but gravity, water and everything else act and react in the way that you’d expect them to in normal Minecraft. It’s just staggering that this is possible. Do you think Notch really though his title was capable of such things?
Codecrafted, the creators of this Mineception, should be applauded.
