Valve Will Not Be Announcing Anything At E3
I hate to start off the day with bad news, I really do. Unfortunately though, it is my duty to let you know that Valve has official stated that they will not be showing or announcing anything new at this year’s E3, silencing any hope of finally seeing something about Half Life 3 anytime soon.
Speaking to IGN, Valve personally confirmed that although they would be making an appearance at E3, they will not be announcing anything. This comes after yet another year of rumours surrounding whether or not Valve would finally reveal Half Life 3/ Episode 3 at this year’s E3, with some little teases here and there getting everyone’s hopes up. But it seems we have to wait another full year for any confirmation. Then again, this could just turn into another Diablo III.
Valve is currently working on DoTA 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, both of which are currently in closed beta. I’d expect Valve to push these titles at E3, as well as maybe give us some release dates.
C’mon Valve, when are you going to through us a bone. Or better yet, a crowbar.
