Dishonored Gets A Beautiful Gameplay Trailer

It’s Dishonored again, a game that is quickly shaping up to be one of the most anticipated titles of this year. This time around, we’ve got some actual gameplay, as well as more of a look at the world you’ll be hunting in. And damn does it look gorgeous.

Viktor Antonov, world artist for Half Life 2, should take a lot of the credit for that. He’s helping develop Arkane Studios’ latest title, which looks to be an interesting blend of first-person action with some supernatural stealth elements. Neat, isn’t it?

Do yourself a favour and watch the trailer above. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Dishonored release for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC October 9th.

I’d list all the games this seems to mash into one, but I’m afraid I’d take an arrow to the knee before finishing.

This looks very interesting and dynamic :) I hope they can deliver, and wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up getting delayed. They’re quite ambitious with this game.

This is one of my top 3 most anticipated game for the year. I can’t wait to play it, glad this doesn’t clash with Bioshock anymore.

That twist on the folk song is just eerily perfect.

I loved this game at first sight and it just keeps looking more intriguing, more fresh, more unique, more awesome.

I don’t know, guys… I have doubts. Glad to be proven wrong though.

I still have doubts because they’re taking on such a huge scope for this game with lots of different gameplay elements. They’ll need something awesome to pull it off. A game like this needs lots of depth and player choice in how they want to approach the game.
