E3 2012: Resident Evil 6 Screenshots Land

In addition to the rather dry gameplay demo of Capcom’s Resident Evil 6, we also got our hands on screenshots.

There’s a bunch of them, around eighteen in total, and they’re mostly stills from the footage itself. But it’s always nice to go through them at your own pace and check out the finer details for yourself. Or something like that.

The game will be out on PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 2 this year. The PC version’s date is unconfirmed.

      You can’t be serious? This doesn’t even look like a half decent third-person shooter, nevermind an entry into the Resident Evil franchis. Why are horror games so fucking lame all of a sudden? Dead Space 3 and now this?

      Because the masses are lame. Shoot ALL the things is the only language they understand. Good old fashioned horror like Silent Hill: Downpour or Silent Hill 2, and survival horror gems like the original Dead Space are A) too hard to make genuinely scary and creative these days and B) gamers won’t appreciate them.

      That’s why Dead Space 3 looks like boring trash (like the second game was) and Resident Evil 6 looks like the same old crap. You didn’t believe me when I said Dead Space 2 sucked and would lead to Dead Space 3 being just as action orientated and lame :P
