E3 2012: ShootMania — A New Competitive FPS Game

Following the trend of TrackMania, and a few other Mania’s, ShootMania is a first-person-shooter aimed at becoming a top eSports game. It has been developed by Ubisoft, where it was previewed at E3 2012.

The game is simple: two teams face-off against each other. One team has one player with a rail gun, whereas the others have rocket launchers. Or, you can play 1-on-1 games. It depends. It seems quite diverse.

With that in mind, the E3 conference saw top Counter-Strike players fighting against each other. It’s more Quake than Counter-Strike though. It’s for PC as well.
