Before this one even got underway the sound of ravenous barking could be heard, fervent protest of a sorry excuse for a gaming podcast, or passionate support of the best thing since Half-Life 2? You decide.

Welcome the tenth eGamer podcast. That’s right, we’re into double digits now, or the binary form of two depending on who or what you are.

In this episode my dogs introduced everyone to the show while Alessandro suffered technical difficulties, as always. We then talked about the indie title Krater, which you should expect a review of soon, as well as the recent Wii U event which Alessandro went hands-on with.

There’s also some discussion of Mass Effect 3′s Extended Cut DLC — expect more on that from me — as well as the recent upshot of free-to-play titles and what it means for the gaming industry in the years to come.

It gets a lot more controversial from there on out, after we discussed such things as Alessandro getting banned from Quake Live servers, how much George R. R. Martin looks like Santa, the recent picture uploads on our Facebook page and of course, Hitler.

We then got nostalgic by sharing how each of us met and came to be, here at eGamer, before answering your questions.
