Here’s Your First Look At The All-New Most Wanted
The key-word here is ‘all-new’. Yes, EA is doing exactly what they did with Hot Pursuit two years ago and reviving an old NFS moniker while also re-inventing it and they’ve even picked the same studio to carry out the work. Burnout and Hot Pursuit developer, Criterion, is working on this new Need for Speed: Most Wanted so at least that’s a good start considering Criterion hardly puts a foot wrong when it comes to making enjoyable racing games.
A video demonstration is due at EA’s E3 conference next week on Monday June 4 at around 11pm local time.
Electronic Arts said the press event will “feature never-before-seen video and gameplay for the biggest titles EA will unveil this year”.
What you see above is the first promo image of the game and well it is a bit poetic and a step in the right direction that they’ve chosen to use the latest incarnation of the M3. Also, notice the Corvette cop car in the background. Both these details suggest that Criterion is drawing from the source material but here’s hoping that they do this right and don’t just give us Hot Pursuit 2.
