Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Delayed Again

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has been delayed yet again, according to distributors Namco Bandai Games.

The game, which uses the CryEngine 3 and is a sequel to Sniper: Ghost Warrior, will now be released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 9.

It was previously announced that the game would be released on August 24, but I guess now we’ll have to wait until October. Namco Bandai Games gave no reasons for the delay, so we can hope its for extra polish.

While the original Sniper: Ghost Warrior received very average to bad reception from critics, it was a surprising financial success, selling over two million copies. Now you know why we have a sequel and why it’s using the CryEngine 3.
