Which City Has The Worst Gamers?

Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban — and everywhere in-between. The best thing about online gaming is that you’re able to play games with people from all over the country, from your own home. The worst thing about online gaming is the lag, and that people often suck. A lot.

It’s hard to find a game where everyone is on a relatively even skill-level, unless you organise something special. That aside though, in public games we’re often faced with players from various cities and places. Sometimes close to us, sometimes really far away.

I’m not sure if it’s entirely safe to comment on which gamers suck. But I’m going to hint at it. I vote Adam and Caveshen aren’t the greatest. They live in the same city, you figure it out. Now, let’s wait for their rage and rebuttal.

We’ll do the best city another time.

      Adam and Tim aren’t too bad at Killzone, so I’m gonna say Cape Town, because when have I ever been stabbed by someone from CT? Bronwin hasn’t, Brandon hasn’t, A-G hasn’t because he’s too scared to get KZ3 and Azhar potato. :P

      Although they’re packed with MW3 clan players

      He’s not a gamer, more of an entity and barely even that. There is the idea of a Timothy Biggar but he simply does not exist.

    You guys haven’t even played games with me online. Dean has, and he knows I’m awesome. Marko and Rudolf as well. Anyway.

    I’ve found that the Cape Town folk tend to have a lot of friendly people, but equal amounts of idiots who make me sad and bleak. The Joburg gamers are pretty much all stern-faced, serious folks who forget their playing games and that gets annoying. Most of the Durban people are entirely MIA online. I think they warm to me because I’m from here, but I see their douchebaggery at times as well. When they actually do play online. The Pretoria and Stellenbosch folk are my sweethearts. They’re ALWAYS friendly (except for the retards that show up, like from everywhere really) and will make gaming fun for you.

    This is all from my own experiences online in either PC FPS games, a little RTS, DotA and over Xbox LIVE.
