Which Two Games Should Be Fused Together?

You’ve all seen Dragon Ball Z or Yu Gi-Oh where two characters or monsters can fuse together to form one super-being, infinitely more powerful and over 9000 times cooler. Well, what abut games? Surely there are games that, when combined together, amount to so much more than the sum of their parts.

For example, take FIFA and combine it with something like Assassin’s Creed. What you need up with is a game with great free-running and an awesome open-world environment but also death by football. Instead of throwing knives and crossbow bolts, you’d simply fire balls at them with a mighty left boot. The up-close and personal kills would of course be administered via a not-so-stealthy bashing of the skull with your foot. It would also involve seeking revenge against UEFA and somehow there’d be a portlier version of Adam Sandler in the mix but you get the picture. Also, that idea’s mine so you can’t have it.

Alternatively, if we combine Deus Ex: Human Revolution with Batman: Arkham City, you’d end up with rich and detailed open-world game that offers the greatest stealth experience ever while also boasting some amazing tech and kick-ass combat for those who want it. You also get to be Batman and that’s always a bonus. Combine Rayman: Origins with Max Payne 3 and you’ve got the very disturbing adventures of a middle-aged fat bloke as he trips on LSD and shoots lots and lots of people in slow-motion.

You thought we were going to do a normal question this week, didn’t you? Well that’s not how we roll. So the question is: which two games would you combine together to form the ultimate game?
