Match The Song To A Game – Headbanging Goodness

I’ve been following our Match The Song To A Game posts and amongst the Biebers and Call Me Maybes I haven’t seen much dedicated to the numerous metalheads out there. Vacancy from As I Lay Dying strikes me as the ultimate badass song. Especially the chorus section of the song where everything just terms into this miasma of intense music. Sure, As I Lay Dying isn’t the heaviest metal group out there (not by a long shot), but I quite fancy the melodic riffs and clean vocals.

Many times I’ve played this song while playing some shooter games online and it always made me perform better. It’s a feeling I can’t quite describe. There are moments of extreme concentration and the triumphant moments get so intensified it’s not even funny. So where can you picture this song playing in a game? Not so much the heavy first part, but the chorus.
