Forget Seduce Me — Now You Can Fap To Save The World Or Not

With the whole Steam Greenlight Seduce Me thing well behind us, it’s time we shift our collective gazes to a pornographic game that actually will be seeing the light of day. This is Save The World Or Not.

“Sex?” says Alexander Nareyek, studio head of developer Kingdom Crafting. “Sure, the game includes explicit sex, and a quite healthy dose of it. If you look at the uneasy way that most media outlets deal with sex, it may seem hard to believe, but let me tell you an earth-shattering secret: Nearly everyone on this planet loves and enjoys sex! And if you exchange awkward-looking 3d graphics with a high-quality HD video engine, sex is great game content.”

So it’s all about the high definition boobies, then? Nareyek certainly makes a good point though. Say what you will about sex in the entertainment industry, I’d quite happily assert that pretty much every male and a fair few females as well have (or had) a folder on their PC with some porn in it. You may deny it if you feel you must. Guilty pleasures after all, offer high deniability (I made it a word).

Save The World Or Not is a strange sort of title. We know it has sex and judging from the reveal trailer above, pornstars, but there’s no gameplay and nothing to show exactly how one goes about doing any of the things in the game besides jerking off to gratuitous amounts of female skin.

This game will definitely be raising many sexism and feminism alarms (and for some men… something else), no doubt. Controversial, it most certainly will be. “Exploitation!” they will scream, because these people obviously go onto porno filming sets and do the exact same thing…

The game has the rather quaint tag line of: “Gaming! Adventure! Sex! The game that every man was waiting for!”

Eh, I’m not entirely sure about that, but it’s still an interesting sort of game to check out, if only to see exactly how they plan on mixing live-action with a gamified experience. Basically, how much of this game will be game, and how much will be straight up hardcore porn?

They’re calling it a single-player PC online game with a relaxed and cool lifestyle setting. Make of that what you will, and let us know what you think of the mixture of ‘epic adventure story’ and ‘explicit sexual content’ in the comments.
