Rihanna Dons Hitman Apparel — Completely Misses Irony

In a rather hilarious state of affairs, it seems that Square Enix has teamed up with UK exclusive clothing brand Trapstar for a Hitman: Absolution clothing range, which was recently favoured by none other than R&B singer Rihanna.

Now this was undoubtedly staged and she probably got paid loads of money to even think of donning something that doesn’t show off ridiculous amounts of skin without bordering on illegality, but the celebrity was spotted in London wearing several items of clothing from the brand, including the admittedly awesome looking hoody you see pictured here.

Square Enix wasted no time in boasting that Rihanna’s “favourite” items will be available to buy from Trapstar’s store in November, however it’s up to you to decide whether such a statement will actually cause a huge demand for the product.

I just can’t get over the irony of Rihanna sporting Hitman apparel, especially after her whole Chris Brown saga. More so given Hitman: Absolution’s sexism woes. Such a beautiful irony…

    Maybe they intended the irony as a staged irony to ironically get more people to buy the jacket. 

    And based on the fact that sentence barely makes sense, that’s a whole lot of stupid planning going on :P

      Well it’s two fold. For one, after all the sexism scandals regarding Hitman Absolution recently, they go and take the world’s most sex-symbol singer and put her into the least scant hoody ever. That’s a little less funny and a little more I see what they did there. For two, HITman hoody on Rihanna, who famously said that Chris Brown hit her. Yeah. :P
