Activision Working To Fix Black Ops 2 PS3 Technical Issues

In the wake of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2′s launch, many gamers have been reporting various connectivity and freezing issues with the PS3 version of the game, posting their complaints on the official Black Ops 2 forums.

While some Xbox 360 users have also reported similar issues, the problem seems to be more common on Sony’s black box.

Activision has come out and said that it is aware of the issues, and is working on fixing them.

Activision Support said on Twitter: “We are aware of connectivity issues that some players are facing in Black Ops II on PlayStation 3. We are working on resolution, thank you.”

The publisher also retweeted a Treyarch post which contained advice for PC gamers with issues.

The tweet said: “If you are experiencing crash or performance issues, please make sure your drivers are updated.”

    A lot of my clan mates have been complaining about being unable to find games and hectic lag when playing in a local lobby and my answer has been wait for the update and play the singleplayer campaign..my mind still boggles that some people skip the singleplayer and just jump straight to the multiplayer..

      Well with the way most ‘pure’ FPS games are made, there isn’t really much of a point. Most have stopped trying to make good/deep stories and if they have one, it only lasts a few hours. It seems as if the focus is MP these days for longevity.

      Aah Sage but thats not the case with CoD and epecially with Black Ops 2 cause when you play the singleplayer you can tell alot of work was put into it even though it lasts well above 8 hours..

      Yeah, I guess that may be that case. Black Ops 1 had a freaking coll story that I loved but it was a bit short lived. I haven’t played the second one so I won’t know.
      I was mostly just making a generalization on modern FPS games as being geared more towards the MP market.

      You will definitely love the story in Black Ops 2 the campaign is long and the decisions you make actually impact the ending of the story in a shocking way..all i can say is its an emotional rollercoaster…

      It feels like FPS games are moving away from the story telling perspective and into MP area pnly. I wouldn’t be surprised if they start releasing CoD as a MP ony game in the near future to be honest. Whereas in the past they used real life history for story, now they’re just making up shit which is quite disappointing to say the least. I wish they’d make an afghanistan/iraq war CoD. Would be so cool.

      Im really keen to play Blops 1 and 2 now. 1 for the story and 2 for story and mp.

    Yeah, so far the matchmaking is pretty poor, but the game is actually a hell of a lot of fun.

    And DEM ZOMBIES ZOMG O_O

      Lol STFU Hashim you dont want to play the game in the first place..Like ive said its easy to QA a multiplayer with a team of a  100 or so but when you finally release your game and  millions or so of people go online problems will arise..thas why they are patches and updates to cater for that..Its no excuse though for releasing a subpar game which in this scenario is not the case..
