Take A Look At BioShock Infinite’s (Disappointing) Box Art

BioShock Infinite has a lot of interesting material to draw from when it comes to box art. Not only is there Booker and Elizabeth, there’s the floating city of Columbia, the Hard Hitters and even the famous Songbird. So it really hard to look at such bland box art when you consider what Irrational could’ve done with BioShock Infinite.

Sure, it’s not that hideous, but I’m rather tired of the lone protagonist, clenching a gun and looking all menacing on the covers of my games. You could have Booker and Elizabeth being attacked by the Songbird, or a long shot of both of them falling through the skies in Columbia. Anything to make BioShock Infinite look more than your typical shooter, which it certainly is.

Regardless, here’s what will be greeting you when the game releases on the 25th of February next year

As I said, it’s not horrible, but it’s not fantastic either. If you took a quick glance at it I wouldn’t blame you for thinking it was Uncharted.

You right it does look like Drake just the more darker evil sort of version :O

You have an amazing character like Songbird and you don’t put it on the cover why?
Hopefully this is a mediocre boxart for a game that’s not so mediocre.

I thought it looked pretty cool

I think the background looks awesome, but the guy on the front ruins it. There are far better things they could have put there or just left it artistic, but hey, Americans suck at boxarts. It’s all about throwing people on the front cover.
