Match The Song To A Game: Prince Of Persia

I was thinking of going with a slightly more recent game but then became overwhelmed with a sudden urge to make the centre of this week’s attention Prince of Persia and the fanboy inside of me enabled it. The Sands of Time trilogy for the Prince of Persia games is regarded as one of the best trilogies to exist within gaming. Each game was a little different with a different key focus amongst the game’s core strengths of platforming, combat and narrative.

Each game also had a different tone from the tainted opulence of Sands of Time to the dark and gritty tone of Warrior Within and then the slightly more surreal atmosphere of The Two Thrones. All great games and some would say they form the perfect trilogy. That’s enough from me as a massive fan of the series so let’s get down to business.
