Don’t underestimate the importance of killing creeps! Just remember, no matter how frowned upon the strategy of “turtling” is, it wins matches… time and time again.

The truth is that, every hero needs some gold to do well. Often people miss a great deal of gold from simply being lazy. Missing free creeps in an unattended lane (also known as free farm) is quite serious. A little more focus can and will make the game a LOT easier, for yourself and for your team.

If you are in a tough lane, especially one where you aren’t expecting to make any kills, don’t be afraid to use your mana (spells) to kill the creeps [last hit]. Most of the time, that amount of gold can be extremely helpful to buying regeneration and survival items.

Referring back to carelessness. Farming creeps is actually easy. Some focus and logic, along with some repetition is all it takes. If you want to stay in a safe part of the map, while in your lane, simply try hit an allied creep for every enemy creep. This will essentially keep the creep in the same area as they die at the same time.

So, the tip is, just because there isn’t a hero in your lane, doesn’t mean you must LOSE FOCUS. If you creep correctly, you can make the enemy pay for giving you even 5 minutes of free farm.

Hard work pays off.
