Nintendo execs have apparently said that they were given the option to benefit from the same technology which powers Microsoft's Project Natal, however they declined as camera technology was a bit too pricey. Rumours revolving around the next-generation Wii, or the Wii 2 state that there might be a Blu-Ray player which supports 1080p. Nintendo are apparently looking towards Blu-Ray as it not only helps stop prevent piracy, but the Japanese company is also seeing it as a viable format for the future. It seems as if our Pokemon dream will in fact come true. Nintendo has officially revealed information regarding their revised, and resized DS console.
